our OFFER
The Knit Club (2 hours)
The Knit Club is a workshop structured like a relaxed and welcoming knitting and crochet group, open to beginners and experienced makers to come together, connect, learn more about the craft and its radical history. Participants will be producing knitted and crocheted squares to go towards our London chapter of Blankets for the World, Blankets for London. The Knit Club is open to anyone interested in approaching crafting and textile art for the first time and to any creative who would like an opportunity to make together and connect with other makers. We have seen the benefits of bringing people together through creativity for a shared cause, and the square making will bring people closer to their own local community, while learning a new skill. All materials are provided; knitting needles and crochet hooks will have to be returned at the end of the session.
Our pricing is based on group size:
Extra small group (6 to 9 people): £400
Small group (10 to 15 people): £600
Medium group (16 – 20 people): £700
Large group (21 – 25 people): £800

Established in 2022, Craft Forward is a Community Interest Company based in London designed to provide accessible, creative, experiences suitable for everyone. We re-define and re-frame arts and crafts through workshops that value well-being and connection over results and technical achievements, while having a clear social purpose.
We work with organisations interested in activating their spaces with activities that provide meaningful engagement, bringing people and communities together in a meaningful way and creating products that make a difference.
We think of arts and crafts as smaller, valuable actions that contribute to the community’s growth and that can tackle bigger social issues; one of our main initiatives is “Blankets for the World,” which started back in 2020. Every year, we create hand-knit and crocheted blankets for people experiencing houselessness across the world. So far, we’ve made 991 blankets and brought together over 4000 people through this project.
We believe that arts and crafts can be a catalyst for social change and can also have a big impact on people’s mental health and well-being. Craft Forward provides a range of workshops and creative events for specific communities and the general public alike. Our workshops are a way for people to come together, learn a new skill, and make new connections.
