Our third iteration of Blankets for Lambeth started in August 2022. We partnered up with Brixton Soup Kitchen, and we assembled and delivered 36 adult size blankets. This year, in light of the rampant cost of living crisis, we have also collected 8 baby blankets for families.
We facilitated three knitting workshops and one assembling workshop sponsored by Make it in Brixton. Our creative community is becoming bigger and bigger and it is so inspiring to witness our collective growth, while helping to tackle a bigger social issue.
